I'd be interested to know the party affiliation of both the voter and the poll worker, and if they knew each other. Since party affiliation is not mentioned and this is apparently a city of Louisville precinct, my bet is that the assaulter was a (D) and the assaultee was an (R).

Perhaps the Assaulter thought the "R" stood for Rutgers!
I guess they take their Football serious in Louisville, KY.
