Is there anyone out there that thinks we can hold onto the house besides us? I would prefer to hold both. Call me nuts.

ok, you are nuts but not sure what type of nut you are. :)

Seriously though, I can't wait to see the Democrats backpedal on everything they said they would do on the WAR, TAXES, ETC and watch their leftist base storm the doors of congress and piss on Pelosi's new hair doo while Barney Frank tries to shield her with a smile on his face.

I think we hold the Senate 53-47 and hold the house by 1 Vote with a loss of 14 Seats.

Republicans are underrepresented in the polls.

Human Events thinks we will only lose 12 seats.

I think we are going to lose far fewer and even add a couple.

I think the polls are underestimating GOP groundroots support-as always.

I think we hold then both. How many times have we seen the networks surprised by the actual vote tally. They will be surprised again tonight.

Yes, it is just barely possible. The late Republican surge in the polling data may token a late break in our favor. My experience has been that "throw the bums out" rhetoric against an unpopular incumbent tends to falls short unless the challenger presents a credible alternative. This may prove to be the Democrats undoing because they nationalized their grievances and complaints but did not present clear remedies.

I'm watching the cable networks and I'm really puzzled why Terry McCauliffe and Charles Schumer are so incredibly happy and are both predicting losses of 20+ minimum for the House.

Do they know something hard-and-fast that is telling them that it will actually happen the way the Dems have been predicting??
