People who are swayed by exit polls, or last minute commercials, are not serious voters. When one knows the issues and the candidates, there should be no flip-flopping when election day comes.

Then why on earth would Free Republic refuse to post exit polling data? Wouldn't such a policy assume that we could be swayed by these polls?

Early on in this thread the Admin Moderator gave a very good explanation of why this decision was made. I think their explanation would answer your questions.
