Why don't all states have early voting? We could just skip these last-second antics and the flood of useless commercials.

Given events that can and often do happen during the last week of election day, it is NOT a good idea to vote early.
Plane crash killed Carnahan in MO for one thing, and there are other events that can make a person wish they never voted early.

Why don't all states have early voting? I don't "get" this whole early voting thing. I don't even remember when or why it started.
I don't know what the earliest day is, but what if your Rep. was Mark Foley?
