Why don't all states have early voting? I don't "get" this whole early voting thing. I don't even remember when or why it started.
I don't know what the earliest day is, but what if your Rep. was Mark Foley?

I don't know about elsewhere but, here in Texas, there are many folks who work on the 3 days on 4 days off, 12 hours schedual. Many of these are 6 am. to 6 pm., leaving little time for them to vote. I like it because it gives me time to vote during multiple work days or the weekends. Voting on a single day DOES disenfranchise many people who would normally vote.
