OK, if your looking for "omens", my kid's had a homework assignment where they had to identify and color the different states within the United States of America. We put it on one of their doors. When I glanced at the map a few minutes ago, I noticed Florida had been colored "Red". I noticed most of the states have been colored red. So if I go by this, Republicans will hold both the Senate and the House by a few seats and the Dims will be left knashing their teeth.
Hey, this is just as accurate as any poll by CNN or quoted by Chris Matthews.
I subbed yesterday in a 5th grade Social Studies. The kids are getting ready for the Veteran's Day program they will have on Friday. We talked about Nov 11 being Veteran's Day, but since it will be on Sat - the program is on Friday.
I asked "what day is tomorrow?" One child said it is electon day. I asked what/who were up for election? Mayor is up in that town. They knew gov was up. 3 names were mentioned - Perry (they knew he was the incumbent), Leghorn Strayhorn (they knew her current last name), and Bell. The one who named Bell asked why did it matter if you voted.
