Bill Brady. Oberweis is a nice guy and a colleague of mine but has run four losing campaigns and never been elected to anything. There are examples of people who have never held office winning the govenrorship, but is no example in U.S. history of a private-sector candidate winning the highest office in a state after failing three times to win other statewide races. Brady was the only electable conservative in the race.
