Actually I got called by a good friend who was soliciting votes for the Democrats. We chatted for a while, and I felt virtuous, because I was eating up time he might have used to call someone else, plus we had a nice talk.
You are a more generous and forgiving person than I. I don't have any friends that are Democrats; and that includes the errant relative or two. For the life of me, I cannot seem to find anything worthwhile in someone who persists in following the Democratic party as it has become.
