Reminds me of Terrell Owens doing his own theatrics in the end zone and costing his team a 15-yard penalty. Self before team.

Stupid move. If he saw President Bush stumping for Ryun in Kansas yesterday he would have been pleading for his help in FL. W was at his absolute best yesterday.

"Now that the president is so unpopular, Charlie refuses to stand side by side with him," Davis said. "It says when the going gets tough, Charlie won't stand up."

Yeah, right. As if Davis would have given Crist credit for standing by Bush. Whatabunchahooey.

Actually, excellent strategy. This close to the election. Crist should be working to rally voters in Orlando, St.Pete.

Whilest, the Bushes rally the faithful in Pensacola. And at the same time showing total support for K. Harris.

Now if this was three weeks before the election, I'd be worried. But not today. No way.

W is hot and heavy rallying the troops gathered at the Pensacola Civic Center.

Interesting that W thought it important to be in Pensacola today, Jeb thought it important to be in Pensacola today, Harris thought it important to be in Pensacola today, Martinez thought it important to be in Pensacola today, Miller thought it important to be in Pensacola today, but Crist didn't.

What a dork. If the President came to visit me, I'd get out the best china and vintage wine, and treat the man with the respect he deserves. It is such a shame that the liberal media can have such a chilling effect on America, where Bill Clinton deserves the benefit of the doubt and the respect for being in the highest office in the land, regardless of whether he had sex with that woman, Monica Lewinsky, and then lieing under oath about it, but George W. Bush doesn't deserve any respect because he stole the presidency from Al Gore AND John Kerry. I will never subscribe to a newspaper again, I will not register on the NY Times website, and I will not ever watch network news. I also have really cut back on Starbucks because they sell the NYT at their stores.

Crist is too liberal. But not as liberal as Davis.

If he becomes governor, his attitude will change once the next hurricane hits.

Meanwhile Bush's approval is up to 45% on his recent appearances and speeches, too bad Crist fell into the MSM trap.

I'm a conservative Florida resident. It has been my intention to vote for every republican on the ballot except one. When I heard Crist could not bring himself to attend the meeting with President Bush, I received confirmation that my decision to leave the governorship blank was the right one.

Now I sincerely ask the true believing republicans, why should I vote for that slimy liberal (RINO) Crist. I need a really good reason to change my mind or no one will get my vote for governor.

considering the source. However imo Crist has run a poor campaign considering the strong state of FL GOP. Aren't the polls showing a tight race. It should be a cake walk for him considering the Jeb's approval ratings.

Crist's chief of staff, George LeMieux, said the candidate already has strong support in the heavily Republican Pensacola area and thought his time would be better spent campaigning elsewhere. LeMieux said the decision had nothing to do with the president's job approval ratings.

IF HE WON'T STAND WITH MY PRESIDENT I WON'T VOTE FOR HIM! yeah, the panhandle "support" my butt, so why should W waste his time showing up? i am ticked.

LOL...I was on the Sunday Talk show thread yesterday...and when I saw that idiot TO do that "trick" in the endzone, after the touchdown..

I asked Mo1, who is in Pennsylvania, if she wants TO back for the Eagles...

She said NO...we have to keep him. GAG ME!!

I posted to some Florida freepers a while ago...that since Crist is not a national candidate...I hope he loses for what he did.

Of course the MSM are saying what an "embarrassment" this is for the White House..and shows how very unpopular Pres. Bush is....ugh

Stunningly inept move by Crist's campaign. The day before the election is GOTV time. Period. Making sure that the reliable voters you already have actually get out and vote is a helluva lot more important than wasting time trying to win over unreliable undecideds.

Unfortunately, Davis is right.
