Losing the Senate we worked so hard to gain control of would be disastrous for future judicial nominations.

Especially with Justice Stevens aparently gravely ill.

Nancy Pelosi has already come out on the record and said that a Democratic victory is virtually assured and that the only thing she is worried about is the possibility (based on what, I don't know) that all the votes won't be counted.

IOW, she knows they're going to lose and she doesn't want to lose her positiuon as leader.

My predictions:
Tennessee, Corker
Montana, Burns
Maryland, Steele
Arizona, Kyl
Missouri, Talent
Rhode Island, Chafee
Santorum, 50.9 percent, Casey 50.1 percent
New Jersey, Kean
Virginia, Allen
In Ohio, DeWine will lose

**I wonder if the country is shifting even more than they say...**
If you watched "Obsession" on FoxNewsChannel you will know why it is all shifting back to the Republicans!

Stop the jihad!

If it hadn't been for the Foley mess, the picture would look quite different. Denny Hastert needs to go. He was too slow on his feet to get out of the way of that truck driven by the MSM.

"Santorum, 50.9 percent, Casey 50.1 percent"

That looks like voter fraud to me.

We can only defeat ourselves....IF WE DON"T VOTE.

And ignore the trolls posting here trying to discourage us (They're just a nuisance) Those sleeper trolls are a pain in the butt.  Notice the sidebar FR poll...at least 8.3%  democrats posting here plus the third party impostors.  They are the loudest! We need to ignore the losers.

I don't know if there were faked polls, but it wouldn't surprise me. Also, I think the cell phone era, caller ID era, and the hang-ups throw the polls off by more than they can correct for. Therefore, the polls are faulty to begin with. (I'm a don't-answer-an-unknown-ID person, and if I make a mistake and it's someone I don't know, I hang up.)

The last few weeks the blogs, radio, organizations, and grassrooters have worked overtime to get the vote out. Then there's the idiot trio who have definitely helped. The star idiot, frontpage, center-stage is John Kerry. He might single-handedly be responsible for energizing a huge percentage of conservative voters. Reid's corruption probably took the entire corruption thrust off the table. Finally, I think the New Jersey court liberals and their homosexual marriage ruling came at just the right moment to wake the entire conservative movement up.

So you've got Reid killing the corruption argument melding into the New Jersey homosexual shock running lickedy-split into Jon Carry proving the Republican's point that democRats don't give a sh_t about our troops.

Speaking of Jon Carry....the Minnesota Nat'l Guard might have created the single most effective political ad in the history of the nation.

I honestly believe that Kerry has singlehandedly motivated the Republican base.

This has all gotten so predictable.

Isn't that the truth. The next step will be the gnashing and wailing of teeth and screaming for legal action after the Dems lose their shirts in all the areas where they don't have the polls already pre-rigged (i.e. Philadelphia, Chicago, Detroit, etc.)

Keep in the mind the Dems lost the House in 1994 with basically even a tie in the generic ballot.

Today, however, even with a -6 for us, I think it is very possible if not probable we can keep control of the chamber.

The chamber is much more safe from shifting than in the past.

Anyway, these polls do show movement toward the GOP, which is great.

What is the partisan breakdown of the respondents?

Here's hoping that come Wednesday's news the DemonRats are found to still have E.D. (Electile Delusion).
