Then what is the point of the post? You don't know. The father can't post.

I can absolutely guarantee you that members of the USAF can vote in all elections. They do have to exercise their responsibility to act in a timely manner. They do have to be registered to vote somewhere.

This is a ridiculous thread. This young woman could have voted, had she bothered to take the steps required to do so. There is an officer at every USAF installation who has, as part of his or her job, the ability to help both enlisted personnel and officers to vote in the jurisdiction in which they are registered.

This is bogus. She could vote, but, if she cannot, it is because she did not act in a timely manner.

During my time in the USAF, which was in the late 1960's, we were briefed on voting procedures well in advance of elections, and in more than enough time to take care of the paperwork.

I voted in my district in California from New York, Texas, Turkey, and Maryland during my service. In each case, the process was smooth, but you did have to do what was required to get your absentee ballot. Today, it's even easier, since the mail is not required.

You've gotten all paniced about this, and there's no reason for it. I guarantee you that this person had an opportunity to vote. She may have ignored that opportunity. Does she now expect that rules will be broken for her?
