The web site on the link was established for Cassie as a tribute.
Recovering Democrat's remarks:
Cassie Bernall was born on November 6, 1981...she was murdered by a school mate because she was a Christian. Though the details of her death are disputed, everyone acknowledges she was a professing or practicing her faith when killed.

God bless Cassie's family and God bless America.
I still have a tribute to her on my old website.
She has been an inspiration to me and my Sunday School class when I taught the teens.
I still think of her every couple of months.
My daughter went to a church youth group where a surviving Colombine student (and Christian) survived.
There was a video tribute also to Rachel Scott

Cassie was a lovely flower
and she trusted in His power
We can feel the loss as friends and family grieve
And when she faced a terror we cannot conceive
Said "I believe
I believe"
We have learned from books and college
we've amassed tremendous knowledge
But there's still some things we'll never understand
For what will happen rest assured that it is planned
It's in His hand
in His hand
With God
she's now with God in heaven
With God
she's with Him today
With God
she's now with God in heaven
With God
He brought Cassie home
Life is sometimes very hollow
there is pain and there is sorrow
And we wonder if a broken heart can mend
But there is something more important in the end
No, don't pretend
don't pretend
With God
she's now with God in heaven
With God
she's with Him today
With God
she's now with God in heaven
With God
He brought Cassie home
(brief musical interlude)
With God
she's now with God in heaven
With God
she's with Him today
With God
she's now with God in heaven
With God
He brought Cassie home
I pray for courage like hers. Prayers for her and all those killed on that awful day.
Love of Jesus
Hatred of lucifer
The choice is yours alone to make for yourself only. Choose wisely!
I've read that book as well as the one that Rachael Scott's parents wrote. I love the poem that Cassie wrote the day before she died. God bless her.
Very good point.
Very good point.
yeah, but it's all the fault of the gun.
For all the talk about militant atheism, at least these incidents are few and far between. But their pain won't ever go away.
