This is a good sign. The balloon as popped for the Democrats. They are going to pick up some House Seats but all the things I'm seeing is the GOP surging at just the right time. I just saw a poll that showed that of OCT 31st before the last debates Katherine Harris has closed the gap with Nelson in Florida. Nelson is still ahead 53.7 to 39.6 with a 3 point margin of error. I've been watching this race and Harris has been picking up steam. I think she has been underestimated considerably and it is a pity Jeb and Christ haven't campaigned more vigorously for her. It is still a long shot but I think there is a chance she will pull it out. If she is within 10 points by election day she has a chance at upsetting the Democrat apple cart. I think she is closing on Nelson. There have been no polls in this race since the end of OCT.

Why the pessimism? We don't have to concede anything. The GOP could actually gain seats this election cycle.

If Christ had campaigned for her, I believe she would be a sure winner.

"...it is a pity Jeb and Christ haven't campaigned more vigorously for her."

Even if Christ campaigned for Republicans, the Democrats wouldn't vote for them. (Sorry...)

I actually sent Harris a check, although she's a real outsider, because I wanted to see that other S.O.B. beaten really badly. Florida politics are a mess. We need to start turning the tide somehow.

If one thinks about it that is really bad news for the dims, repubs vote early, so they are polling people who haven't voted yet.

and the demos are losing ground among people who haven't voted yet. So we have an edge in early voters and we are gaining ground among people who haven't voted yet.

this surge is x2 good news.

The Dims peaked too soon. They were too quick to measure the drapes and spent too much time gloating instead of thinking.

The DUmbasses in the lame-stream, has-been, drive-by dinosaur DNC media have to cover Saddam's sentencing today and tomorrow.

He's already been sentenced to DEATH, any further trials are moot and we are again reminded of why our troops are in Iraq - depose Saddam (or REGIME CHANGE as it was referred to when Clinton adopted it as policy, but did nothing more than lip service). DUmocrats wanted the election to be about Iraq, and so it is.

1. Jean-Fraud Kerry says soldiers in Iraq uneducated.

2. Soldiers respond.

3. NYT admits Saddam had nuke program.

4. Families of fallen visit Iraq (no quagmire)

5. Saddam sentenced (death by hanging)

News cycle seems to be working for GOP advantage thus far. DUmocrats yesterday counter with "Rusmsfeld must resign" and "recruiters caugh lying" stories. Wow. That's new....NOT!

In addition to Saddam sentencing, Fox will be running OBSESSION - THE MOVIE, and we get to see the face of the enemy again. Yesterday, Fox is also showed "waterboarding" (Steve Harrigan, a Fox reporter volunteered to show how it is done).

DUmocrats come out of hiding, but have NOTHING to give anyone a reason to trust them with power. They've even invited BJ and Al to speak for them - kiss of death.

I don't know what Monday brings, but I've got a good idea about the day after.

He's afraid he will lose his expert status if he says we will pick up seats. You know serious expert like the ones who have guessed wrong for 5 elections in a row!

Exactly! We're not talking exit polls here. We've still got 2 days to get out the vote!

IMO what Monday will bring from the Dims is accusations that any single Republican that is running for office is gay.

Katherine Harris will not, unfortunately, win. She left a perfectly safe seat in Sarasota that is now endangered, and seemingly, willfully ignored the Florida GOP. That of course did not set well, and her biggest asset is, IMO, her ego.

That being said, I still plan to be more loyal than she is and vote for her Tuesday. I hate that that robot Nelson will beat her; we could have trounced him with another candidate.
