Are the GOTV efforts in MD significant? I would love to see GOTV combined with black community efforts. The turnout would be astounding!

No way. That was on MSNBC !? So, Chafee's +5% then. (Mixed feelings about this one, tho...)

Lincoln Chafee, according to a new McClatchy poll, leads Sheldon Whitehouse (D) by 1%, 46% to 45%

Great news! If the GOP loses control of the Senate atleast Bush will still have Chafee's vote!

What are the chances Republicans have no net losses or even gain in seats in the Senate?

Just saw it a little while ago on MSNBC. Lincoln Chafee, according to a new McClatchy poll, leads Sheldon Whitehouse (D) by 1%, 46% to 45%.
Darn, I wanted to lose this one. Can you imagine the agony of having a 50/50 Senate (which is the only reason to have Chafee) and then see him switch sides. Better to be rid of him AND hold the Senate anyway. Maybe our candidate in '08 will be smart enough to support someone like Laffey.

Kyl is ahead by 7%.

Kyl has no chance of losing.

Steele is virtually tied with Ben Cardin (D). 47 to 44%

Steele will win as Blacks who don't admit voting for him because he is black outnumber whites who don't vote for him because he is black. He will run 5 points ahead of polls, and get a good chunk of black votes. Only hope for Dems is massive voter fraud. Burns has made a major comeback and is now tied with Democrat Jon Tester.

Burns will win by a few. Montanans, like GOPers around the nation, are only focusing on the race these past few weeks, and they are not going to send Fester Bestertester to the Senate.

Corker is ahead by 12%.

Corker was never in trouble, that was all manufactured by the MSM.

Webb and Allen are tied.

That's a load of macaca. Allen by 5. It would be 10, but his reaction to being attacked was to emulate a deer in the headlights instead of a strong leader. Webb is a weird dude and by now everyone knows it. Allen has lost his chance to advance to national office, though.

Talent will win by 4 or 5, enough to overcome St. Louis voter fraud.

Santorum and Dewine still have a chance, but I am not counting on them. If they win, it will be a pleasant surprise.

Final tally: GOP minimum is 52, max is 56. I predict 53 and a loss of Chafee, which is a net loss of only one, since I don't count Chafee as on our side. The MSM will be apoplectic.

You mean the polls have been bogus up until now? The GOP could do a lot better than we all think.

I'm not in RI, but if I were there is a #1 reason to vote for EVERY GOP CANDIDATE ...

IT'S THE JUDGES, STUPID!

Letting the Democrat win is giving Schumer ammo for his filibusters ...

Chafee is ahead in Rhode Island and Kean is even in NJ. Both blue states. This is good news for the more conservative states. I do believe we will keep both the House and the Senate.

Nothing to add but a plea for every Freeper to get out and VOTE this Tuesday. There's no liberal landslide-in-waiting, unless we let it happen by staying home on Election Day!

You guys need to consider the national trend of what this poll is revealing. Down double digit points according to the media and now the guy looks like he's turned it around in days.

Sorry, Rhode Island is a small state but there's no way something like this happens due to good campaigning.

The only conclusion one can draw is that even in a 'rat dominated state of registrants, the Republicans are not only closing, they are moving and moving hard.

Thank you Jon Carry. Halp us indeed!
