BAGHDAD, Nov 5 (Reuters) - The judge presiding over the trial of Saddam Hussein and seven others on charges of crimes against humanity ejected former U.S. attorney general Ramsey Clark from the court on Sunday for insulting the tribunal.
Clark, who heads an international team of lawyers involved in the defence, was ejected at the start of a hearing at which Saddam and two aides were convicted and sentenced to death.
The judge, Raouf Abdul Rahman, ejected Clark because he had sent a memo to Abdul Rahman including the accusation that the tribunal was making "a mockery of justice".
The judge told him in Arabic: "No, you are the mockery ... get him out, out."
Abdul Rahman then shouted in English: "Out! Out!"
"You come from America and ridicule the Iraqi people," he said.
Clark had earlier said the trial was politically influenced, and that if Saddam were sentenced to death, it would be "victors' justice".
Would love to see that. 'bet the penalties for such stuff is a bit different over there. Can you picture this traitor in an Iraqi jail?
Wait long enough and God says: "That' enough out of you!"
",,,in is own time.
If the Rats were in charge so would Saddamn!

That's a blast from the past from the wayback machine! What is the "Daily World", though?
Thought it interesting that the administrationed then questioned the number of actual military veterans there - it is prohibited for members of the military to participate in political rallies, so ironically sometimes the only impression civilians may receive about veterans in person are from imposters.
Does anyone have access to the '72 photo of Kerry, Clark and Fonda at the Washington anti war demonstration?

Too bad these people couldn't be hung once for every innocent life they took
He looks like a skid row derelict in this picture. Is Hillary deeply saddened? Wasn't she was his biggest fan in 2004?
I'm surprised the brilliant lawyer is unfamiliar with this law

Clark looks pretty good for a guy who must be pusing 90 years old.

This really boosts my regard for the Iraqui Justice system. They did to him what we should have 20 years ago. What a maroon!
