Wow! I got one of those calls from Rummy telling me to vote for Snowe and Woodcock.
...but I think maybe it was Rich Little doing it for him

Thomas Kean is not the ideal politician, but compared to Menendez, he is AN OFFER YOU CAN'T REFUSE!!!

Yep, I got one of those calls as well. Amazing, apparently Joe (a liberal) was none too pleased at the treatment Alito received.

Laura Bush called me, but it was to get my neck/sleeve length for an order of shirts Dubya (ssssh, it's a secret) is surprising me with at Christmas.
She wouldn't say who they were from, but she said he had a Dubya in his name.
While we were on the phone, we updated each other's addresses and e-mails.
She's lbush@gmail.com, in case anyone needs it.
Just being,

in some states you deal with what you have, none of us vote for perfect candidates and as a Libertarian I have to vote pragmatically...that means for whoever the republican candidte is.... So....GO Kean.

I'm half-Italian, live in the Garden State, yet did not receive a phone call.
If anything, Joe "I'm from Joisey" Piscopo would turn me off from voting for Kean.

I just got a call telling me that the Democrats are going to repeal ALL the tax cuts and not to vote for them. At least they're out there working the phones.

Ben Stein called me yesterday. I wasn't home at the time, but he was kind enough to leave a message.

Joe Piscopo just called me and told me to vote for Tom Kean Jr. "You shouldn't vote Republican, Johnny. My mother voted Republican once.
Once."

LOL. Linda Lingle has called me TWICE! (Hawaii's governor)

PS - Lingle's call was to remind me to vote Tuesday. I already voted during early voting. Does that mean I can do it again? I'd be quite happy to if I can. I'm so sick of every single democrat in this state running against George Bush ("Don't vote for Bob Hogue - he's a nice guy but he SUPPORTS THE PRESIDENT!")
Texas sent us absentee ballots as well - we thought as soon as we registered in another state (Hawaii) that Hawaii would notify Texas of our change in residence. Guess not.

Joe called me, also. I have zero Italian blood, but I still plan to hold my nose and vote for Kean on Tuesday. I'm not thrilled with Kean, but he's better than the alternative.
The phone has run four times so far today, and all four were computerized messages. At least I heard from a real live person yesterday.
