Me either. Just commenting on the obvious, I guess.
I guess it shouldn't be a shock. Fox News became campaign central for Ford this week.....

Mark Halperin is a veerry very slippery operator. His book acknowledges the heavy lefty bias in the media and begs for more credibilty if media wants to flourish. Very freshing and disarming. Very smart and well spoken.
On the other hand, he's probably very left-leaning (based on his history) and is extremely influential throughout all ABC News "platforms", which don't seem to share the thought that their bias is showing.

Heard Hilary Clinton state that the reason she was so proud of not allowing the President to reform social security is because even if they do nothing.....seniors will still get 70% of their benefits.
So a 30% decrease is okay with her, I guess.
Too bad it's to the point where dems know she lies whenever she speaks and they don't care a bit.

"Well, we will find out soon enough if Kim and Brit start a New Conservative network."
I think that Brit will take a network anchor job... and he does have history at ABC.
"Fox is still 100 percent better than all the others, just not fair and balanced as in the past."
While I do agree, it becomes less and less so with every passing week.
"If you are let go,that is being terminated, fired for whatever reason, you are history. If she did not leave on her own she was fired."
Let me draw an analogy.. Ford and GM just had to lay off a huge number of workers. Some of these workers were offered an early termination deal. For Cash and Benefits, these people were persuaded to take a deal and leave their job early. They were not "fired", but with certainty they were "let go". There is a difference.
"Since I have never been fired in my working life, it is foreign to me."
I own three businesses, one which has been successful for 31 years. I have tried to fire myself on many occasions, but it just never works out! ;-)

We have a lot of enthusiasm and Joe Negron fits this district, especially my area perfectly. He is backed by the NRA and National right to life. The NRTL have been running fantastic ads for Joe that really slam Mahoney. Mahoney is faking that he is conservative and his radio ads say he lives in our area, but he lives in a gated Community in Palm Beach County. Dems never tell the truth. Joe Negron has a 6 year record as a budget cutter and he was instrumental in getting the law on the Books in Florida that enables someone that is attacked on the street to use deadly force. This has lowered the number of incidents because the Felons are aware that they can be shot if they make the mistake of attacking or robbing someone that may be armed. It is a virtual crap shoot, or like playing Russian Roulette, and it cuts down on the attacks by this human debris. The 16Cd was won by GWB by something like 61 percent in 2004, and we want to shoot for that goal again. Mark Foley was going to win with 65-35,and we are pushing and educating every single day. Joe could still use contributions, it is a big district because of the rural nature and coast to coast design. Contact Joe at joenegron.com This is my day off to get rested for the final push, especially the 13 hours that I will spend at my precinct on Tuesday.

The media was so sure that by rushing to Jon Carry's defense he would be inoculated from any criticism from his own party.
How WRONG they were. I read too that some in the MSM are furious that Carry apologyzed.

we need to label them accurately if we want to inform independent voters better Exactly. Not only that from now on whenever the rats come out with new stalking points we need to be all over them immediately, it makes little sense for us to let them have any traction at all on any of their well rehearsed lies, spins and half truths.Every time we do they bank roll them for future use.

ABC News with Stephy, and the roundtable acknowledge the large number of CONSERVATIVE DEMOCRATS running and doing well this year. Take heart, they're starting to get the message.
Should Dems take controal, it was also noted, Pelosi's replacement will have a hard time keeping the conservatives voting with the wackos.
Also please note: the AVERAGE 6th year losses are 31 house and 6 senate seats. We'll fair better than that with an unpopular war going on. Nothing to worry about here folks. We'll hold both.

"But, oh no...there will be no "impeachment"....blech"
- No, there will be no formal impeachment, just a constant background noise that one is imminent.
The plan is to hold lots of highly publicized and sensational hearings, subpoena a lot of witnesses, get judges warrants for documents, smear anyone who looks like a Bush supporter and use the MSM as their 24/7 attack dogs.
The purpose of all this will be to present Hitlery in 08 as the Great Healer - a sane voice in an insane world who we all must support if America is to regain it's democracy and dignity, ad nauseam.

Let go in my terminology is that you have a contract up for renewal and your employer decides not to renew it, yes you could decide not to renew yourself but in reality if you are going to do that you normally go before contract renewal.
I have not been let go or fired myself I have been made redundant but when they made over a third of the workforce redundant and I was one of the last in I do not count that a minus to me. In fact it was a plus because within a week I had another job on half as much money again and have steadily progressed in the company over the last 25 years to my current position of Product Manager.

Boy, do I agree with you on that! Our number one job over the next two years is to call the Democrats on every issue or lie they put out there. We have to stop them from unanswered accusations and claims.

I'm trying to refresh my brain, you may be right that Andrew Sullivan didn't go so far as to actually accuse Rove of being in on a Foley cover-up, only that Rove along with Hastert and Reynolds, knew about Foley and pages. I stand corrected as I do remember Matthews being almost incredulous at Sullivan's "tell me something I don't know" . Quite damaging enough if Sullivan's allegations get broad play, even if limited only to "what Rove knew and when he knew it, about foley".
CNN RELIABLE SOURCES
Jim Axelrod of CBS News is a putz, proving it on CNN's Reliable Sources. He's absolutely incredulous at George Allen for trying to make a big deal out of opponent Webb's novels. I haven't seen much of Axelrod, but his facial expressions and movements are way too overly dramatic, as if he wants to over-sell his points. And he's reporting from the Bush ranch in Texas, not CNN studios. (Maybe potent barn fumes affected his professional delivery)
Ed Henry, of CNN is a double putz! When he's asked why the MSM goes overboard reporting on negative ads, Henry says wait a minute, "just last week we (CNN), in prime time, prime time mind you, devoted an entire hour to the war in Iraq. Pat us on the back, Henry was saying, and the kudo deserving CNN show he was bragging about was titled, "Broken Government". As if a CNN pro-democrat hour special, aimed at persuading voters, isn't even more obscene than showing replays of the "macaca", or "call me Harold"! ads.

It amazes me talking to people that do geography the majority say they find political geography boring and prefer the geology element. I was the reverse.
I am thankful for that interest and pride myself that the majority of major countries I can name either their capital or major city(cities).
I think that teachers also play down the political geography element and try to say this is social studies and push for the syllabus to be more geology based. This in my view is not giving studies a good foundation in basic general knowledge of countries and where they are and is to their detriment. Also how many people actually talk to their children anymore about world affairs talking to people at work it is sadly very few.
