LOL
It is not the tsunami that the Dems were expecting
BTW let us not forget that CT is outraged over Kelo. Don't count out the possibility that Kelo plays some role in 06.
I dont even think Foley is news in Florida anymore.
How the Heck is it news anywhere else in the country?
And funny how Kerry's comments, directed to our servicemen all over the nation and world, are NOT considered a factor by these dolts on TV.
Schumer stating the Dem Senate Iraq position. Stop policing a civil war, get troops out of harms way, etc, etc.
So basically he was espousing "Cut and run" in fancier words?
election assistance commission?
who is this on fox?
COMPLAINING ABOUT ID?
Just a note. Ruby Ridge happened under the first President Bush, not Clinton. Waco was with Clinton, and it included many of the same agents, but not Ruby Ridge.
Rahm E. stating that Iraq needs a "new direction" with more oversight. Russert cites Dean who stated "we will not permit Iran to become a nuclear power", etc, etc.
In other news...
GOP wins on Tuesdays. Fox News pundits still get to collect a paycheck on Weds.
Mark Cuban's Hi Def Channel on Direct TV (murdoch owned). It probably has a few thousand viewers.
LLS
Russert just brought up the Vanity Fair article. Perle and Frum were reallly ticked at VF - they took some things out of context and they were not supposed to release the statements until AFTER the election.
Whoa! Liddy - you go girl!

Vanity Fair has come out with its usual election eve hit job. This time it selectively quotes leading neocons on their views respecting the war, editing their lengthy remarks to suggest dissatisfaction with the Administration and the war. Michael Rubin has already responded, ss has David Frum.
I read Richard Perles comments as an attack on the perfidy of some in the Administration, a topic I have written about more than once.
Richard Perle was traveling, and I was only just able to reach him to clarify his views, as I was certain the article was a total misrepresentation of them, and he has promptly responded. Here is what he told me.

Editor's Note: On Friday, Vanity Fair issued a press release highlighting excerpts of a piece in their January issue on neoconservative supporters of the war in Iraq who today, unsurprisingly, have some negative things to say about how the war is going and how the Bush administration has been handling it.

That is the sense I get. In between that and hearing ad nuaseum
Here we go...Wallace doing his best Fat Tim imitation...tossing up some derrogatory comments about Steele then asking him to respond.
*sigh*
I like Michael Steele...makes me wish I could vote in Maryland.
I wanna know where the headlines denouncing the Esquire magazine article calling Ken Blackwell, Michael Steele and Lynn Swann "Lawn Jockey's".
Where is the outrage at this blatant racism?
Russert now citing the Army Times, AF Times and their comments on SECDEF Rumsfeld should go. I recently asked a retired Navy E-8 about the Navy Times and he called it a "rag" for what it's worth...
Aaaah, the art of spinning!
Bev Harris of Blackboxvoting.com has MSNBC"s Alex Witt all atwitter because (wring hands here), electronic voting is so darn hacker friendly.
We just don't know if our votes are counted! Oh woe is she!!
Someone should tell the squeaky voiced Alex about all the dead voters in St. Louis, and all the non-existent voters in Memphis, not to mention Memphis' missing voter cards.
I think it's hilarious how the MSM and democrats are conspiring to scare voters about faulty voting machines. You'd think they would see the irony, especially when one of their main talking points is how Republicans use scare tactics on voters.
So I take it the chowder head from NY didn't support our troops going to Yugoslavia (civil war) under Clintoon?
I doubt it.
Tim asks if it would be better to "pull the country together" (like that is possible) to let go of the SecDef. Oh good, Reynolds points out that the Army Times is owned by Gannett. This is a pretty sharp guy. Points out that the dems just abandoned any attempt to put out a position on Iraq.
