Iraq urges calm ahead of Saddam verdict

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Iraq's prime minister on Saturday urged his countrymen to accept the impending verdict against Saddam Hussein without violence, then in the next breath declared the former dictator must get "what he deserves" with the decision that could send him to the gallows.

my cat liked watching your dancing characters I went into the den to listen to Fox as they were playing the video of Hussein being sentenced. Even my 6 year old cat was celebrating. She was about 3 feet away from the TV and was rolling around on the floor, chasing her tail and meowing as she watched the screen.

Did you hear any portion of what Clark said? If so.... what? One of the Iraqis translated it for me. Clark trashed the court, calling it illegitimate, saying the judge was illegitimate, etc., etc.
The judge said "You shouldn't even be here. You criticize me and my court? Get out NOW. Guards (gesturing to two guards), carry this man out."
There is a lot of yelling in Arabic going on in the courtroom right now. I'm only picking up the odd word here and there. Can't tell what they're yelling about.
