Actually, they are crowing about their power having risen 10 fold in the last year and while their enemies got weaker. They've seen NK get away with nuke tests, Russia and China shoot down the idea of even mild sanctions, Europeans go limp as soon as they played the Palestine card and put them in bed with Israel, which they ran screaming to get away from by pretending to side with innocent Lebanon. And they see the right losing power in the US. The main field of action is political and they are winning on all fronts. They are going to get nuclear weapons and the world is going to watch and let them, just as the world watched and let Hitler rearm Germany prior to WW II.
