Citizens United, a prominent Washington-based conservative grassroots advocacy organization and its affiliated Political Victory Fund are unveiling a major campaign advertisement targeting Democrats for their staunch opposition to the NSA Wiretap program which authorizes the interception of international communications of people with known links to terrorist groups.
The ad, which was produced by political strategist Dick Morris and Citizens United president David Bossie, premiered on FOX News Channels Hannity & Colmes and will be seen nationwide on FOX News Channel in the days before the November 7 th mid-term elections.
A Democratic Congress would jeopardize our national security and reverse real progress in the Republican War on Terror. The Democrats are more interested in protecting the rights of terrorists than American families, said David Bossie.
The ad features a dramatized conversation between two terrorists planning a lethal terrorist attack. The conversation is disconnected by Democrats. The script reads:
This terrorist wiretap has been disconnected by a Democratic controlled Congress.
If the Democrats win, the NSA wont be able to listen as terrorists plot to attack.
This year, vote like your life depends on it. Because it does.

And you can watch Dick Morris talking about it on H&C.
I do like Morris, but has he changed his mind yet about who will win control of Congress? He's still got several days to change his mind half a dozen times before the polls open.
I wonder if he is sucking toes with anxiety over this election?
He sounds like he was really hammered by the Klintons and he is doing his best to poke them in any way he can..go Dick.

Let's hope they can show this across the country.
I've seen the ad and it is terrific. Gets better every time you watch it.
Morris just said (I am watching the video of the H&C interview with him on video) that he has a lot to attone for.

He is just saying that the problem is that only 69% of Republicans and 80% of the Democrats said they will get out and vote for their own respective candidates.
The election all depends on the conservative and Republican base. If everyone turns out, we win, if they don't they are helping the Dems take control of Congress.
I just saw it on FoxNews, that prompted me to go on the internet to find out more.
PING
Terrific ad! It should be run right across the nation.
I read a Morris article two or three weeks ago where he outlined the ad storyboard and said Republicans would run it relentlessly if they had any gonads. Then I saw the ad yesterday on TV and knew immediately that it was the one sketched by Morris in his article. I was surprised and disappointed to see it was by "Citizens United," not the RNC. I didn't realize that CU teamed with Morris to produce it.
It's very effective. I just wish they had the money to relentlessly run it nationwide for two weeks prior to the election instead of a couple days before.
If anyone is interested OBSESSION: Radical Islam is available here: http://www.alainsnewsletter.com/s/spip.php?article248
The entire video in 8 parts. You might want to pass this on to anyone you know who needs to see this before election day.
Ignorant, self-important, wallet-stealing, hatefilled thugs, all of them.
If he's sentenced to DEATH, any further trials are moot and we are again reminded of why our troops are in Iraq - depose Saddam (or REGIME CHANGE as it was referred to when Clinton adopted it as policy, but did nothing more than lip service). DUmocrats wanted the election to be about Iraq, and so it is.
1. Jean-Fraud Kerry infers that soldiers in Iraq are dumb.
2. Soldiers respond
3. NYT admits Saddam had nuke program.
4. Families of fallen visit Iraq (no quagmire)
5. Saddam sentenced (death by wood chipper)
News cycle seems to be working for GOP advantage thus far. DUmocrats today counter with "Rusmsfeld must resign" and "recruiters caugh lying" stories. Wow. That's new....NOT!
In addition to Saddam sentencing, Fox will be running OBSESSION - THE MOVIE, and we get to see the face of the enemy today and tomorrow. Fox is also showing "waterboarding" (Steve Harrigan, a Fox reporter volunteered to show how it is done) all day today.
I don't know what Monday brings, but I've got a good idea about the day after.
I've heard the toesucker talking about the ad on several radio talk shows lately. I just saw it on FOX. I'm glad they got it up and running, but I too, wish that they had done it earlier.
Dick Morris is really quite liberal. But, he is definitely a hawk when it come to national defense and the need to defend ourselves from terrorists. He has always been on the side of GWB in the WOT. He thinks it is the only issue in this election. He's is one Jew who get's it!
Where did they come up with the numbers for voter participation this time? I really don't believe it. I can't see 80% of Democrats going out to vote in this mid-term election. They may SAY they will. That is such a high number, even for a Presidential year, which this of course is not. And 69% of Republicans? What is the usual number?
thanks for the info.
Talk radio folks will know what I'm talking about when I say Morris strikes me as the political equivalent of Richard C. Hoagland guesting on "Coast To Coast" -- he's often just plain goofy, but always a kick to listen to!
I just saw that creep Robert Novak on Fox News...and HE said that in the last few days, the DEMS have gotten the momentum...and that he predicts that they will gain even MORE House seats than he previously predicted.
I don't know what he said about the Senate...I got mad and turned to the Weather Channel....LOL
Are we supposed to believe that this former Clinton advisor is now a Republican, or what? I am leary.
