This is good, lets hope a lot of them think like this. Around here, the types of Dems that are elected,like Indys mayor, made Indy a murder capitol, reflects Dem voters. I will always say that they get into the prez election, but they don't care alot about mid terms. A lot of them don't even know the local candidates. What you said is what I believe, screw the beltway folks, they have no idea of middle America.
Dims always have smaller turnout at the midterms. If the weather is bad, they will turn out at even lower numbers. I wish there was one huge storm system that would cover 90% of the country, but that seems unlikely.
