I still remember the media's darling pundit, Larry Sabato, declared during 2004 the result was WRONG since the EXIT poll said otherwise. Amazing!!!
I guess it all comes down to how successful the dems get out the dead effort will be.
But, I give the dims credit for playing ALL the cards they have in their hands {weak and tawdry though are}.
PING!!!!!

I've always know Hugh Hewitt to be optimistic, just like Rush.
From Hugh's mouth to God's ear!
A few minor Katrinas in Dem areas would be nice, but that won't stop us. I go out in the rain , in my jammys, and look like superchicken. Only problem I might have is my Driver license as ID. Chickens can't vote unless they are a democrat!
Flags of our Fathers is not a pro-America rah rah movie...people DO read reviews. Did you see it?
I'm ready for the D's to begin their whining lawsuits on Wednesday morning!
Why pay to see Hollywood prettyboys pretending to be soldiers when real soldiers are out there fighting for real?
"I stopped the back and forth e-mails and the face-to-face discussions. Total waste of time."
My brother and I just came to the same conclusion. It is only worth debating for sport, not to convert liberals. That said, you might be able to leave seeds in the minds of the uncommitted.
For GOTV, thank Ken Mehlman not Karl Rove.
Actually, I think the pollsters are a lot more devious and sininster than that.
They purposely try to create a blue tidal wave. Then closer to election, they have to report closer to reality lest they get put out of business.
I think political polling such as this should be illegal. If my "speech" is silenced (via my money), 30 days from election, the polls should not be publicized lest they influence the election.
I hope you are right, but if so we can look forward to another two years of incessant whining and yammering about Diebold and all the rest of the 'rat incontinence.
Maybe it's just a bad movie. I heard it was long, boring and emotionally draining. I would not go. I might rent or buy to watch in my home.
Movies are so yesterday.
My biggest problem is living in a blue county. Last week, I answered the phone without looking at the caller ID. The caller asked if I intended to vote next Tuesday. I said "No."
She asked if I would consider voting for Barbra Ann Radnofsky (D) running for Senator against Kay Baily Hutchison. Again, I told her "No."
She asked why I wasn't voting, and I told her, "I voted for Kay BH last Monday. I also voted AGAINST every dem on the ballot." She said "Oh", and hung up. That made my day!
Indy here is blue. Mostly because of urban sprawl, gotta love it. Don't be discouraged just keep on telling them you would never even consider voting for a democrat. Keep your hopes up that here in Indy Eric Dickerson will unseat mash tater mouth Julia Carson.
I'm not planning to see "Flags of Our Fathers."
I like all of Clint Eastwood's westerns, and I like the idea of a patriotic movie about the flag raising at Iwo Jima.
But the guy who scripted the movie is a screaming leftist. And every indication is that the movie is about racism in America and corrupt exploitation of heroism. Not what I want to see. I think Eastwood miscalculated, because it's not a movie apt to draw in the antiwar crowd, either.
I understand. You know, it's funny, until George Bush got elected - I had many friends of the liberal persuasion - we all got along great. We respected each other's opinions.
Since then, I've stopped having anything to do with a lot of them. They've changed. I don't enjoy their company anymore because they always have to try to "yank my chain".
I think Al Gore's meltdown & refusing to concede the race poisoned their minds. They are bitter, irrational people now & most of them - I wish would just go away & die (mostly kidding about the "die" part.....mostly).
