My biggest problem is living in a blue county. Last week, I answered the phone without looking at the caller ID. The caller asked if I intended to vote next Tuesday. I said "No."

She asked if I would consider voting for Barbra Ann Radnofsky (D) running for Senator against Kay Baily Hutchison. Again, I told her "No."

She asked why I wasn't voting, and I told her, "I voted for Kay BH last Monday. I also voted AGAINST every dem on the ballot." She said "Oh", and hung up. That made my day!

Indy here is blue. Mostly because of urban sprawl, gotta love it. Don't be discouraged just keep on telling them you would never even consider voting for a democrat. Keep your hopes up that here in Indy Eric Dickerson will unseat mash tater mouth Julia Carson.

My town committee has been making calls for two weeks for Nancy Johnson, our 12 term RINO Congresswoman who is in trouble.

When I was calling, it was common for me to hear that the person had been called once or twice before. One person was really nasty to me -- 'Oh we'll never vote Republican again.' 'May I ask why?' I asked. 'Because of that terrible George W. Bush.' Without missing a beat I said 'Oh. I didn't realize he was running this year.' The giggling of all of those around me probably made it sting a little more too.
