There is a new mailing out today to Republican women. From a group calling itself “American Family Voices” the mailing is titled “Faith and Family Values Report” complete with pictures of the Bible, crosses and a supposed quote from James Dobson critical of conservative politicians. It makes all the lame charges we’ve seen before but wraps them in a religious way and sends them to Republican church going women just prior to the election. As of a few minutes ago it was still up at http://www.faithandfamilyvalues.org/

It's a Soros group. They call my house and leave messages at least once or twice a week.

These same losers did a huge calling campaign with recorded messages when the Foley thing first hit. I was furious because they left their message of sex and filth on our answering machine for my daughters to hear. Also, they were encouraging me to vote out our local republicans to show "our outrage".

It took about two seconds on their web site to see what "American Family Voices" was all about. Yuck.

They expose themselves in their very words. Notice, not one mention of abortion on demand or futherance of gay rights, marriage especially.

Low and dirty and lies.

I hope that good Christian folks don't fall for that. That is low - trying to suppress Christian turnout and using Dr. Dobson's name. He should sue.

It's like those fake callers to talk radio who say stuff like " I've been a Republican all my life but ...( insert RAT talking points here ) " They must think they are so clever fooling all those moronic Republicans. I doubt they have any idea how transparent they sound to the real thing.

It really is a shame that we've had to become so jaded and untrusting but it does seem to be necessary these days.

But far too many Republicans have broken their promise to our families. They’ve failed to preserve our values. They’ve failed to fight the sinful culture that threatens our way of life"

And the Dems fight the sinful culture by?

a. opposing gay marriage

b. encouraging children to learn about God

c. restricting violence/sex in the media

d. getting tough on crime

e. all the above

f. none of the above

Speaking of Foley, I keep hearing this woman on the radio newcasts who says her name is Rita Foley, but in a very subtle way, she has changed the pronunciation from "Folee" to "Fo lay." If you ever heard her before, you can tell what she is doing. LOL

This is the same crowd that seethes in anger over the non-existent "whisper campaign" which cost John McCain the 2000 South Carolina Primaries.

I got mine. A classic example of a dirty trick. They're vote suppressing snakes, and they sure ain't no Christians to pull such sneaky nastiness.

"Although they claim to follow God's path of righteousness, the Washington Republicans have turned their backs on our families...The Bible tells us the love of money is the root of all evil"

It's deliberately manufactured to suppress the Christian vote.

It may fool a few elderly folk, but I'm sure a lot will be like me -able to see right through it and furious.

If someone hands me a flyer like that, I am liable to "lose my religion" and tell them what I think of them in colorful language.

They have a Bible on their site marked "Holy Book", and the verse is Genesis 29:25, "Why have you deceived me", talking about Jacob, and his future father-in-law, Laban, deceiving him by giving him another one of his daughters as his bride, Leah, instead of Rachel. In-te-res-ting!

I feel I should ask where do I contribute to this group? Because I can not imagine what the last five years would have been like with McCain at the wheel. From the makeup of the Supreme Court to the war on terror, McWindVane would have capitulated to the morons on virtually every question.

Sometimes liberal trickery inadvertently serves a good purpose.
