I don't know much about Duncan Hunter but from what I have seen lately he seems like a pretty good guy. But I will need more information before I can support him for President.

I'm not ready to commit yet, but he does interest me.

From what I've seen and heard so far, he has the credentials and the conservative mindset missing in most other 2008 Presidential candidates.

Time will tell.

He might be able to force the party to embrase issues that are important to him (and many others) but it's doubtful that he'd get the nomination or get elected.

Query: Name the only serving house member who was elected President?

That’s why I hope the GOP will succeed at heading off the slide into demagoguery.

Jonah and his "not in my back yard, but yours is okay." illegal appologists can go dig a hole.  Not wanting to have to deal with third world illegals and the rich pagent of problems they bring with them isn't demogoguery.

Just.  Enforce.  The Law.

That's all we ask.

it was probably just a joke.

The dems ran Kerry, the hero anti-war hero.

How about Duncan Hunter, an Army Ranger.
No cowards allowed in that group!

He was on the Big Story with John Gibson yesterday. He's the one to watch and if the GOP is smart he will be the nominee.

The biggest obstacle to electing Congressman Hunter is the elitist Republican establishment. They will pull out all the stops to keep him from getting nominated.
