Maybe I should rephrase. What stuns me the most is the lack of reaction by John Q Public when it comes to the obvious posturing of the NYT and the old media. To me, this is frightening, that we have a 'Pravda-like' messenger and we can't do more about it. Sure, they're dying off but in the meantime, I believe they are doing irreparable harm to national security, not to mention public morale.
And my sincere thanks to your daughter for what she is doing. You must be so proud!

Thanks, Brad, for the good summary of Judith Miller's situation. Miller was known at the Times to have good administration contacts, including in the VP's office. I think there was an expectation that when all was said and done her testimony would bring down Rove and Cheney, too. When this turned out not to be the case she was kicked out of the clique at the newsroom. She was on borrowd time anyway at that point.

Thanks bro. I have written to Gonzales re: NYT. They need an order for all documents to stand and not be able to be destroyed at the paper. You and I know they're twisting this... they have other sources as well. We need to know how long they knew of any nuclear activity.

Thanks SC, it looks like the word might finally start getting out. I can't begin to say how many emails I've sent to various people and never received a reply but it's been worth it if they start talking now.
