To: Fresh Wind

That would be a story in itself - the Administration forcing the NYT to publish a story. They wouldn't go along, but they would publish a story about the threat.

I don't see that happening. It wouldn't be smart for the Administration, and it wouldn't work anyway.

They're going to bash Bush. The Times is going to take some old news, add in some "whistleblower" that should have spoken out years ago if he really had anything, and make it tomorrow's headline story.

I think FreshWind is on to something. See my post #36 for for the senario I sketched out that might make this a workable deal.

My guess: Iran's determination to further its nuclear program is tied directly to our decision to invade Iraq, that Iran warned us as such, and it's Bush's fault that Iran is pursuing nukes.
