Technically, I suppose they shouldn't be making political statements while in uniform. If so, I hope they get cut a little slack.

Technically, I suppose they shouldn't be making political statements while in uniform. If so, I hope they get cut a little slack. What is political about their statement? While it has a political USE, their statement is simply a joke based on the stupid remarks of an insufferably stupid politician. I don't see any actionable activism here at all.
Of course I was only a combat arms captain, not JAG...
