Maybe it's a backroom deal MS cut with Novell so that Novell won't persue how much MS was directly and indirectly funding the SCO lawsuit.
Speaking of backroom deals, I forgot to mention that the article says Microsoft won't assert patent rights against Novell in the Suse Linux software.
