Is it the one where he credits himself for joining forces with Hillary? I saw that ad and it really turned me off. Big time.

Wolfie, you're starting to come across a little liberal... you feeling OK? Not liking GOP candidates promoting their alliances with Hillary? That makes Wolfie a "liberal"?

Hello,
I realize that I have not read each post you have written recently on FR, however, those that I have read are consistently negative to Reps.
What's up with that?

Santorum is one desperate guy to run this ad. He must be legit 10-12 points behind. A shame. I promised myself I would get out and vote straight Republican, as I always do no matter what.
And this in spite of the fact I have been turned off by Santorum's stepping in it on controversial issues like gay marraige and Terri Shaivo.
But his ad boasting about how well he works with the Dems, naming Hillary and then distancing himself from Bush really disgust me.

Libertarian trial lawyer, huh?
No wonder you despise Santotum. All your morals are in your pocketbook and baser appetites.

Not that I disagree with you about Santorum's current position in the race; but the reps are by my last count sitting on about $250 million in the election period ( all candidates and the PAC's) I am wondering how they are going to spend it all in five days.

When Reps give me something to be positive about, I'll be positive. When they give me something to be negative about, I'll be critical.
Recently I've been positive about Corker's chances, Steele's, Keane, and some others. I like Santorum but I thought this ad was terrible and explained why in many posts on this thread. I don't like Harold Ford Jr and have found his recent antics terrible, and I have said so.
I also have predicted a 222 GOP House seats and 53 GOP Senate seats. I don't think that's remarkably negative in any way.

I don't know if that dollar figure is accurate, or how they plan on spending it if it is. That's a pretty good sized nestegg - I hope they use it wisely.
And for the record I like Santorum and am rooting for him. I wouldn't be entirely surprised if somehow he pulls it out. But at this point I expect him to lose by a fairly decisive margin.

You don't like Santorum's pro-family, pro-life views?
His stances on those fundamental issues are what makes him an attractive conservative candidate.

Best poll for him I've seen in two months is 9%. But it is all about momentum on Monday.

In what way will I be wrong? Will he win, or will he not lose by a large margin?
And what does Savage have to do with this?

You don't like Santorum's pro-family, pro-life views? Actually as a conservative Republican I AM pro-family and pro-life.
But I've found Santorum's actions and words on these things to be rather stupid, clumsy and counterproductive on a few occassions.

Best poll for him I've seen in two months is 9%. Actually a poll last week had Santorum "down" 5%.
But I discount all the media polls and think Santorum will win, but be my guest if you wish to trust people whom in my opinion make used car salesmen look like Mother Theresa(the media pollsters).

The GOP has enjoyed a slow, steady momentum for about 10 days now, which should help make the difference in many close races. Kerry added some wind to the GOP sails also.
Will it be enough to close a wide margin like the Santorum/Casey margin? I'd love to see it, I wouldn't be shocked, but I honestly don't expect it.
