"daughter has 2 years of credits in chemistry and biology"

2 years of credits in chemistry and biology = 16.375 years of credits in sociology or journalism.

For a leftie, Chemistry and biology don't count.

Is she had credits in underwater basket weaving or appreciation of piss jar art or sociology of homeless it would be a different thing.

My keyboard has a plastic cover precisely for posts like this.

However, I still haven't solved the "soda pop through the nose" problem... ;-)

My father flunked out his first year at Princeton but went to another college.

All four years at the new college he was in the ROTC.  He graduated in 68...volunteered for the Marine Corps...got his pilot's license and ended up driving F-4 Phantoms in Vietnam....mostly close air support.

He, and some others in his squadron, also ran an orphanige.

After Vietnam he got a masters in Psychology and ended up working as a counselor for many years at Focus on the Family.

Now he does missionary work in Kenya.

His college: Berkeley.  His bachelors:  Sociology.

Things have probably changed; but when I entered the Army, a woman had to have a significantly higher score than that required of a man in order to enlist.
