Gang, this is my first truly national editorial. Thanks to the Sun for running it. This WILL affect the election, and is good for 1-2% at the polls.

You know another thing that hasn't been broached - it's not an 'either/or' situation. Many people enter the armed forces and serve, and also go to college and earn degrees.

Kerry has a typical elitist mentality - he confuses being 'smart' with being 'educated.' If all I know about someone is that they are very well educated, that doesn't really tell me how smart they are, or if they are a quality person.
