Kerry's phony hunting buddy [OH-dem Strickland]

In light of John Kerry's most recent gaffe over Iraq, we have to re-examine Rep. Ted Strickland and his photo-op support of John Kerry in his failed 2004 Democratic Party presidential campaign.

Remember John Kerry's famous staged hunting picture from the 2004 presidential campaign? Kerry was photographed out in the woods, triumphantly wearing goose hunting gear and giving the photographer a "thumbs up" while obviously displaying his proud hunting trophy. The guy Kerry was photographed hunting with that day was none other than Ted Strickland, the same Ted Strickland who is now running as the 2006 Democratic Party gubernatorial candidate in Ohio...

"...Yet, Ted Strickland has told voters in Ohio that he doesn't own a gun."

Birds of a feather..

Update to those concerned about my hysterical constant laughing over this story: The neighbors have now signed a petition to get FR to stop posting articles about Kerry's political suicide. "You kept us up all night with that 'Rove you magnificent BASTARD!' line while you were playign the 'Patton' soundtrack at top volume--ENOUGH!!!!" and "The cackling frightens my children!" The cops have shown up twice, once with an EMT to try to pry the smile off my face. I've lost two pounds since I can't stop guffawing enough to eat.

FR is obviously trying to kill me with laughter. But I can't find it in myself to ask you guys to stop posting these stories! :)

Ha! And they'll be even funnier when the Pubbies keep both houses.

If not, our laughter will turn to fury.

Sign me up for funnier.

Even if we lose on election day, which I am starting to doubt, we've already taken out Kerry in '08, so we're at least that much ahead. His presence in primaries would have done nothing for our side, and may embolden some other loser to join the fray, knowing now that the biggest target in the primaries will be The FBI FIle Librarian before she takes him out.

This is a shot across the deck of any Dem who dares defy her. I wouldn't be surprised if they're all planning strategy on how to take her out of the race asap, if they weren't already.

Remember this well here in Ohio. When applying for a non-resident hunting license he asked, "Can I git me a huntin license here?"

I remember reading in a Kerry 2004 interview about his hunting that he enjoys getting out their and "crawling around on his belly" stalking his game. Crawling on your belly?, I thought. All the years of hunting I have never seen a hunter crawling around like a special forces sniper. You do you get a face full of deer, bear or elk poo.

Truth be told, that picture of the troops holding the Jon Carry sign was the funniest thing I have ever seen. Still can't stop laughing!

They're the magnificent ba$tard$ of the day!

I just sent a copy of it off to yet another friend--I should be paying the photographer royalties! It's my new desktop background--well, it will be once I get sick of the Jessica Simpson in the Old Glory bikini and fatigues.

I don't know for sure how the election will come out, but I sure am having a good time this week!

By the way, I got a lovely call from a gentleman in the RNC last night and I gave him a little bit of money to help with the last minute push. He told me they are trying to get FIVE MILLION NEW VOTERS to the polls! I went to bed with a huge grin on my face!

Mailed it to my son who works in a definitely NON political company. He said that picture was seen by everyone! Clearly it's made it's way across the country and probably around the world!
