Snip: One kitten in the missing cat's litter has tested positive for rabies, said Cleveland County Health Department Director Denese Stallings. Two others have died, and the other one has been captured.
Parents say rabies infected kidney killed teen
Snip: Josh Hightower's family said he was thrilled to get a new kidney from Baylor Medical Center, but it was that kidney they said ultimately killed him 51 days later. Three other people who received organs from the same donor also died, and a lawsuit claims the donated kidney was infected with rabies.
That's frightening to see so many rabid animals/rabies cases out there. Disturbing.
