School bus crashes in Alabama (4 dead, several critical per FOX)

(snippet for archive)
We know there were approximately, and this is an approximate number now, 20 students that were on a bus that were high school students that were en route from the Huntsville Center for Technology," Ward told WAAY-TV. "We know that there was an incident and overturned bus and we've got a very serious situation."

Prayers going up. One more reason why there should be seatbelts on ALL school buses. For those who haven't ridden on a school bus lately; even a small quick stop can throw children across an aisle or into the seat in front of them. My children do not ride on school buses...and for those out there that do...please take a ride on one soon and see what I mean. And I am one of those who is against the nanny government intrusion into our every move...I always wear a seatbelt...but feel that it is not a reason to pull someone over. But on school buses...there is no reason for them to not be mandatory...well other than $$$...and that has been the main sticking point for years.

Thanks V for the archive snippet...with a school incident just today in Germany, etc. it is a good idea.

Prayers for the children and their families.

I heard on the radio while doing chores this afternoon, that the bus swerved to avoid a vehicle.
