People laugh at "botched jokes" because you come off looking like a buffoon. No one was laughing at Hanoi Boi. They new he was on another one of his insane rants about the American troops torturing women and children in Iraq? Was that a "botched joke" also? The liberal WaPo sucks. It prints too many lies.
People telling the botch joke try to correct the punchline after they've screwed it up. The only video I've seen ends with the blunder. If he had made a correction on the spot, you'd think he'd be pushing to get the rest of the video shown.
