When Sen. Barack Obama decided to buy a stately $1.65 million home last year on Chicago's South Side, Antoin "Tony" Rezko and his wife wasted no time. The same day the Obamas closed on the house, the Rezkos closed on the purchase of the adjoining vacant lot, which once was the estate's lush side yard. In normal circumstances, the two real estate transactions probably wouldn't have raised an eyebrow. There is, after all, nothing illegal or untoward about an aggressive developer buying hot property next door to a rising political star.

Too bad. I will not obey their demand I join as a member in order to read their story. They need to go open public!

The senator has a younger brother, Al who has forsaken the cold streets of Chicago.
I thought that was going to be just another boring politician tale, but that is a very interesting article.
This deal has red flags all over it.
Is America really ready to elect Barack Hussein Obama as the first Arab President?
Tried the bugmenot. Got in, but couldn't find the story. Sorry, movin on... But, thanks anyway.
I am pretty sure he is American. If not then he comes from Africa. He isn't an Arab, and he isn't a Muslim. His politics are horrible, but calling him an Arab is incorrect.
Odd, the link takes me straight to the story.
Yeah, I tried again and it let me in with the bugmenot supplied name. Ha,ha, ha. Just love that. Interesting article. Thanks.
I have an article saved where it does say he was raised muslim, I will try to find it.
About half way down the page & then keep on reading. I tried to copy it, but it will only let me copy the whole page.

Ok fine. Arab-American.
Not sure I follow what you are saying. Can you elaborate ?
So he worked for a church based group for several years, and then he went to Harvard Law School Then he spent 7 years in the Ilinois state Senate.
My question is this---I guess those Church groups must pay pretty well and it looks like the Illinois State Senate must pay well too. because he has money enough to buy a mansion for 1.65 Million dollars. His father left his mother when he was two, now most of the time this leaves the mother pretty much in poverty.
Was his mother rich? How did he earn the money to buy a 1.65 million dollar mansion off church groups and the Illinois Senate and manage to pay his fees at harvard law shool. And now he is working for $140,000 a year as a Senator on the Hill.
Just wondering where his gold mine is.
