from the article:
"you end up getting us stuck in a war in Iraq."Isn't 'in a war' added to the quote? If so, what would that make the writer?

I think that's why he's such a joyless person....I think a girl DOES beat his ass...Teresa, the purse-string holder!!!

Not sure this regret is an apology, but he has to do it at least 4 or 5 more times if there was any fairness (Trent Lott & George Allen), and then it still should not be accepted.

If here were a Republican, the story would've been on Page 1A.

If he were a Republican, he'd have to resign If he was a Republican, he'd have to apologize at least 4 or 5 MORE times and then resign!

"No one wants to have the 2004 election replayed," said Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y. Really?? I thought the election was stolen!

Nice of Miss Smarty Pants to tell us what we want or don't want.

ping to verification Kerry mis-read his own speech.
like was said about the preacher sermon, it was read, it was poorly read, it wasn't worth reading.

No Way!
This is not an apology! A written apology can not and will not be accepted.
We the people can not allow this to stand ... we have to see his face! We have to see his body language. His apology has to be at a live news conference in front of a camera. I can't see the contrition in his face. I am the JUDGE and I am the JURY. The "VEIL" of a web page apology does not allow me to ascertain if he is telling the truth.
His apology is thrown out of this court!!! Next case.

its still not an apology, he says that we misinterpreted it...
he doesn't say that he is sorry for saying it.

My version is he threw away his notes and spoke from the heart.

" Sen. John Kerry apologized today to "any service member, family member or American who was offended" by remarks deemed by Republicans and Democrats alike to be insulting to U.S. forces in Iraq."
NOtice how Espo conveniently forgets to mention about how stupid we are if we "misinterpreted what he said"

You're right, if Kerry was a Republican, the MSM would force him to resign. Instead, the MSM carries his water... Is that charming or what?
