***Media Advisory*** Santorum to Hold News Conference Tonight to Respond to Bob Casey Defending John Kerry |
|
|
At a news conference tonight, U.S. Senator Rick Santorum will join veterans to denounce John Kerry's recent comments regarding our soldiers in Iraq. Senator Santorum will also comment on Bob Casey's endorsement of John Kerry's comments in today's Philadelphia Inquirer: "From what I can gather, Kerry botched a joke. That's what he said, and I take him at his word. He served in combat. Last time I checked, the president and the vice president did not. The White House and the Santorum forces should get to work on dealing with the real problems in Iraq. The first thing they should do is fire Mr. Rumsfeld instead of spending a lot of time trashing Democrats." (Jennifer Loven, "'04 foes exchange fire anew on troops, war, education," The Associated Press via The Philadelphia Inquirer, November 1, 2006) John Kerry was scheduled to join Bob Casey Jr. for a fundraising event tonight at the Public House in Philadelphia but opted to cancel in light of his recent comments.

OMG. I didn't realize Casey did this. I am wearing a Santorum shirt as I type... busy with work and didn't know of all the developments. Casey has once again shown himself fit to be a Democratic candidate for Senator... PA is bluish-red, but there are a LOT of vets here. He would be wise not to tick them off.

Murtha remains silent on the despicable remark by Kerry. Diana Irey again calls for
Murtha to denounce Kerrys actions.

Is there a webcast address, or is the PA cable channel going to carry this? I can't wait to hear Santorum's comments.

The Senator needs to rewrite those pension-fund talking points...as it stands now, it's too tedious.
There're only six days left.

If the rest of him is as looks like his face, I am reminded of the time I dropped a carrot stick under my La-Z-Boy, and didn't find it till it was a gnarled twig...

"Maybe Casey's "backing up" Kerry will sink him."
I don't know if it will surely sink him, but it does show how damn stupid Casey is. Sheesh!

But ... but ... Santorum helped Specter.
You conservative Pennsylvanians need to teach him a lesson by electing a lying, treasonous, socialist, numbskull to the U.S. Senate.
Right?

Let's not forget that FDR and Woodrow Wilson were also presidents during wartime and never served in the military.

Bobby Casey is a piece of $h!t and a Commie maggot like Kerry for defending those remarks.
Every PA. veteran should read and ponder Brat Casey's words:
"From what I can gather, Kerry botched a joke. That's what he said, and I take him at his word. He served in combat. Last time I checked, the president and the vice president did not. The White House and the Santorum forces should get to work on dealing with the real problems in Iraq.
