From what I can gather, Kerry botched a joke. That's what he said, and I take him at his word. He served in combat. Last time I checked, the president and the vice president did not.

Maybe I didn't study hard enough, but I'm having trouble understanding why serving in combat makes one qualified to botch a joke.

George w. Bush flew F-102 fighters in the National Guard. 400 hours of flight time.

He could have had a cushy desk job, but he flew one of the most difficult and dangerous fighters of the time.

The only thing Kerry did was shoot himself in the arse with a piece of rice. Kerry's "combat" in Vietnam is the real joke.
