Kerry hands GOP a Halloween treat
The Chicago Tribune ^ | November 1, 2006 | John Kass

Posted on 11/01/2006 3:45:20 AM PST by MadIvan

Just as the Republicans were about to lose the November elections through every fault of their own, U.S. Sen. John Kerry (D-Ketchup) had to go open his mouth.

It was almost like the time he tried to pass himself off as Jethro Bodine in Ohio and cost himself the White House, but worse.

This one could cost his party control of Congress, which will surely upset U.S. Rep. Rahm Emanuel (D-Tomczak), running the Democratic congressional push. Emanuel is the City Hall-backed operative, elected by political thugs in a patronage army, who represents clean government in other states.

"Is Kerry getting paid by the Republicans?" asked the young, cat-hating liberal who helps me with the column. "Did [White House strategist] Karl Rove pay him or what?"

What would you pay a guy to slice off his party's feet in the last week of a campaign that is the Democrats' to lose? By now, Kerry's foolishness will be all over the morning talk shows.

Kerry has gone from anti-depressants to sodium pentathol?

Michael Barone pounded the daylights out of the Kerry camp spin on Hannity and Colmes last night. The very best commentary yet on Kerry's remarks.

...I particularly loved Colmes' sputtering response after being called 'full of baloney' by Barone...the bobbing Adam's apple was just so delicious...

Hey, any group of IDIOTS can maintain and fly jets that cost obscene amounts of money and work together to get them landed it in a platform in the middle of the ocean at night! What are you talking about?

Kerry's refusal to admit he screwed up and apologize for it is just another example of the arrogance of the Democrap Party. These people never admit they've made a mistake or said or did anything wrong regardless of evidence to the contrary !!!

RCP has the Dems even in the Senate today, based on current polls. It's pretty depressing.

Watching the frenchman in front of the cameras this morning I was struck by the thought Kerry's biggest disappointment must be that he was born too late to wear whig and whiteface.

That guy. That guy. I love that guy. What a wonderful, wonderful gift. His lack of candor in follow up comments are just making it that much more delicious.

When Kerry said this, his aid slapped his head, and at that moment his pager went off.

He looked at it and saw this:

RYMB!!!!!

***I think this is a liberal columnist.****

No, John Kass is not a Liberal.
In fact he's the only sane columnist remaining at the Chicago Trib (and the only reason I still read it).

Somehow I don't think stupid people are trusted to fire guns effectively, nor to map co-ordinates for a precision guided missile.

Sure they are. Whining teen misfits are snatched up and forced to command nuclear subs. I heard it in a Roger Waters song.

I don't think the military would even think of admitting someone who didn't go on to high school. These pontificators are idiots!
