What everyone should notice is how eager Chris Matthews is to put Kerry's comments "in context." He wasn't so eager to do that for Rush last week. Everything Republicans do/say is taken out of context and distorted, yet we are supposed to believe Kerry didn't really mean what actually came out of his own mouth!

Kerry spokeswoman said "Kerry mangled a joke". Kerry said he "botched" a punchline. Kerry claims he meant to insult the Commander in Chief, not soldiers, and by golly, he's not going to apologize. (Chris Matthews and Kerry seem to think insulting the intelligence of a President and Commander In Chief during wartime, is quite all right.)

Kerry's indignant, defiant, non-repentant attitude over what he calls a "mistake' is mind boggling.

If Chrissy actually took the time to put the comments in context, he would have proved that Kerry insulted the troops!

"Now, let's talk about education. If...." Everyone on tv is leaving out that critical statement!
