Of course, I've saw him and Bar at Jim Goode's on Kirby once.
That magnificent birdfarm better have ribs on Tuesday and chicken on Thursday with links and brisket available 24/7 and it should carry a six month blended supply of seasoned hickory, pecan and mesquite wood for proper smoking.
I represented my company at the subcontractors' kick off meeting. I remember two things: First guy up was safety. His biggest concern was laser pointers. No laser pointers in the shipyard. They got 100,000 tons sitting on wooden blocks, high pressure nuclear reactors, 1000's of volts of jury rigged electrical power connections, high power radars, overhead cranes lofting high rise buildings, but the biggest threat was laser pointers. Okie-dokie.
The other thing was some kind of manager who put up a schedule and sez "We launch on the equinox high tide. No one's got a waiver since Joshua. If you're not done on schedule, you will finish integration at sea, at your own cost." I got the impression he meant it.
I am sure that some lawyers made a big hassle out of it.:-)
OK, it's being built at newporet News, not Hyundai or anywhere else overseas.
Newport News, Virgina. Don't get caught on the street after dark.
