Yes, there are some things to consider with this cancellation...Who called for it: Kerry or the other campaigns...?
There were some calls on the talk radio shows saying that the Dems should distance themselves, "shun" him as you write. So if that's the way it is, it's politically smart, and after all what we were demanding.
OTOH, if it's Kerry running from the arena, weeeeeeeeeellllll........

Either way, it's a win for the GOP. The Dims look idiotic, pathetic and disorganized. Everyone needs to ask the candidates tomorrow, "where's John and why isn't he here?" The stumbling and bumbling will be hilarious.

Every Republican in every race needs put out a statement asking for an apology.
"Claire McCaskill, do you think that Senator Kerry, as a member of the Armed Services Committee, should apologize to our troops and their families? Even if it was a "botched joke", shouldn't he apologize for the insult to the brave men who serve us?"
