Are there any Massachusetts election law experts who know how to start a recall effort for John Kerry?
My idea is, have a petition drive with volunteers legally distanced from polling places on Tuesday to jump start this effort.
Barring that:
Dear Friends,
I have just read and signed the online petition:
"Kerry Resignation"
hosted on the web by PetitionOnline.com, the free online petition service, at:

I personally agree with what this petition says, and I think you might agree, too. If you can spare a moment, please take a look, and consider signing yourself.
Best wishes,
Completely different. The Governor is state Senator federal. No recall possible.
They do not apply. Only the particular House can expell its members.
Explusion by the respective House is possible but I don't think they can be impeached.
You are correct. No recall possible.
I don't think the courts settled this question constitutionally, but recalling a US Senator or Congressman may require a change in federal law (perhaps even a constitutional amendment), not state law. It's unlikely that Kerry will run for re-election in the Senate in 2008 if he runs for president that same year. The Democratic Party might force him to make a decision like they did with John Edwards in '04. Since Kerry is damaged goods as a presidential candidate, I think he would be crazy to give up his Senate seat to run for president.
And Jimmy Carter too. OTOH I respect Walter Mondale and Michael Dukakis for being gracious in defeat.
Kerry should resign.
