Let me cross my fingers and say a prayer here. Because right before this thread popped up I saw the announcement on the Bush statement in response to John Kerry come across the TV monitor.
I had been thinking, and I'm not making this up, that what JFK said is WORTH a response from no less than the President of the United States.
A U.S. Senator should not have said what Kerry said and I'll tell you what folks. I don't think it's out of bounds to demand that this man resign from the congress of the United States.
Damn right the pubbies should be all over this. Kerry said it, he's made lame and ineffective attempts to deny it. If the Dems think their party can withstand the heat from this in honor of the rabid left, they just better think again.
There's children of Dem parents that are soldiers, there's children of Independent parents that are soldiers, there's children of illegal alien parents that are soldiers for God's sake! This just ain't gonna fly.
Bush has an obligation to apologize to our military for the statements of a U.S. Senator who publicly mocked and humiliated them. Them PLUS their parents who worry every day for their military children for fear they will return home in a coffin.
I will never get over this. And I truly believe this is a drop dead killer for the Dem party.
Let the pubbies come out hollering. Soon enough the Dems will HAVE to follow. There's nothing right about what Kerry said, nothing at all.
Oh man, this is just TOO rich.
And one more thing... THE PRESIDENT WILL BE ON TIME.
Somewhere in the Whitehouse basement, Rove takes the pin out of the Kerry Voodoo Doll's mouth. And smiles..
At 5 PM, the President will be in Georgia speaking to thousands of supporters at a campaign event for Mac Collins -- is FoxNews actually planning to broadcast this event?!

Thanks, John. :)
this may have already been mentioned elsewhere but i saw Brit Hume on Fox after Kerry said he would not apologize remind the audience (paraphrasing now) that Kerry had voted twice to authorize troops for Iraq.
Dems and their big, lying, treasonous mouths. The gift that keeps on giving.
Have any 'Rats come out to condemn Kerry's comment, anyone know? I know Kennedy came out to support the expletive-deleted.
OK Mr Pres,
You always wear those sh!t kickers, NOW is the time to use them. Do not let this disgraceful remark go unchallenged. Call for an immediate and FULL apology to be followed by his resignation. Let him know that it is the ONLY way to show that he does support the troops and does love America.
A grown up is responding to John Kerry's tirade!
President Bush will be responding at 5PM (EDT) per Fox News.
Maybe the best thing W can do is address our military directly.
Don't acknowledge Kerry. Treat him as if he is dead, insignificant.
Then apologize to the military for the disrespect some in Washington blatantly and repeatedly show for them.
Tell them to keep in mind the Country is behind them and most leaders in Washington are behind them and respect them as the best America has to offer.
Never mention Kerry's name.
This is good.
Instead of Snow or Rove addressing the furor, The Commander in Chief should be the one responding to the disparaging remarks about the US Military troops.
The Commander in Chief should come on strong and in no uncertain terms take it to Kerry (and Murtha, and Pelosi, and Reid, and Kennedy, and Durbin, etc.)
In Georgia today:
....I cannot tell you how proud I am to be the Commander-in-Chief of such incredibly brave men and women who have volunteered to wear the uniform of the United States. And even in the midst of a heated campaign season, there are still some things we should all be able to agree on and one of the most important is that every one of our troops deserves our gratitude and respect. Yesterday Democrat Senator John Kerry was speaking to a group of young people in California, and gave them this advice, quote: You know education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you dont you get stuck in Iraq.
The Senators suggestion that the men and women of our military are somehow uneducated is insulting and shameful. Our troops did not enlist because they did not study hard in school or do their homework. The men and women who serve in our all-volunteer Armed Forces are plenty smart and are serving because they are patriots and Senator Kerry owes them an apology.
Whatever party you belong to, whatever you think about the war in Iraq, we should all agree that our troops deserve our unwavering support. And when it comes to supporting our men and women in uniform, I dont have any doubt where Mac Collins is going to land. He is a strong supporter of the military. And he knows what I know: Any time you have American troops in harms way, they have the right to expect the full support of the American government.
When you quit being babygene and learn to be adultgene try again. Until such time do not waste our time with your juvenial angst and knee jerk negativity.
The last time someone openly defied our president like this was when Chavez spoke at the UN. Bush has to answer.
It's the October Surprise! Nobody thought it would be from the Democrats though!
There are few things that could be said that would turn the American people against you faster than what Kerry said. Perhaps if he said he thought sex with animals was OK, then that would be a little worse. I don't see that he has any chance for a future Presidential run now. Hehehe!
Senator Kerry,
Your recent comments regarding our military in Iraq were reprehensible and despicable. Your entire political career you have tried to overcome your elitist background. Yet, here you are on a college campus, extolling the value of an education or, "you end up in Iraq". Some may give you the benefit of doubt - I do not. Your post-Vietnam proclamations and activities demand that I take your words on their face. Your steadfast unwillingness to sign the SF-180 forms to open your military records to the public, bears witness that you have something to hide.
You are a fraud Senator. Our gallant people in uniform are heroes. Your disdain for the military is a disgrace - and no level of indignation on your part will change that. Your past, from at least 1971 until now is enough for me to judge.
I pray the American people can see you for what you really are - a conniving, devious and traitorous human being.
one can of whoop A$$ coming up....
I guess that Karl is in ecstasy. When a Texan puts the smack on an effete East coast snob, it's got to leave a mark.
