We had a great time at the rally and dinner Saturday in Chico!! And I think the people there were glad to see us too! I'm sure it gets tiresome to see the left out protesting week after week. Thank God we have Son of SoldierDad out supporting our troops every week, but it's hard doing it all alone. Lots of people honked, waved or gave us a thumbs up as they motored past and we had lots of pedestrians stop to thank us and talk to us too. One family even stopped and held signs and flags for a half our or so. Hoping maybe some of the Chico residents will start joining Son of SoldierDad in his lonely weekly support our troops vigil.
We really enjoyed meeting SoldierDad and family and it was an honor to stand with them in support of their soldier son and brother in Iraq and our troops! May God Bless and protect them all. We are so grateful for their service for our country and for our freedom.

Great Job y'all! Does my heart good to read these Rally and After Action Reports.
Thank You for bein' there.
Great pix, Jim. Thanks for posting these on FR. I'll share with Rick and the rest the next time I'm at home. Oh, and thanks for not posting the one pix of me stuffing my face with food ;} (I think Ruth took that one).
Thanks to all of you who've made these really great comments regarding out little rally. I hope to put another one together in the future.
Really wonderful pics guys. Keep up the good work.
Ok, great! Please let us know when. Chris fell in love with Chico and I know he'll want to bring us up there again.
Two of my favorites here...
That look on your Soldier Son's face just screams "DIE TERRORISTS!"
That may well be, but us folks sitting amidships on the USS California still see water rising in our port side holds while the captain is constantly assuring us that this great ship of state can handle the list.
Right now what concerns me is the number of life boats available should the California founder. Each night I watch these small boats disappears away from our starboard side, carrying the captain's benefactors, loaded to their gunnels with tax revenue or bonding proceeds.
Oops, meant to say "you and" some of your family...
Don't worry, Snycro. I knew what you meant. My wife and I really enjoyed meeting you and all those who participated in this rally. I look forward to getting together with all of you and more FReepers soon.
First step is to torpedo the Democrats before they torpedo us. Then we can do damage control.
Thank you for the great pics and all of your efforts.
Begging your pardon sir, but how will the boat hit the target if we keep veering to port? Should I aim further left?
Dammit man. You can't miss the target. We're surrounded by the filthy buggers. Vote "R" in all races. We're bound to knock out some of them.
NSRD. They're everywhere.
Aye, aye skipper!
Logan's Roadhouse, one of my more pleasant memories of visits to Chicoville. Got to give y'all credit, there are some very rabid Lefties in that neck of the woods. Good place to make a stand.
Hi Kathy. Just thought you might appreciate some pictures of my family and our little Support The Troops Rally we had last Saturday. You'll see my granddaughter here.
Thought you'd like to check out some pix from our Support the Troops Rally in Chico on Saturday. You can see Megan in a couple of shots.
Thanks for the pics and thread boss!
