SAVAGE, DAN SEATTLE, WA 98122 INDEX NEWSPAPERS/WRITER CASEY, BOB (D) Senate - PA BOB CASEY FOR PENNSYLVANIA COMMITTEE $2,000 general 06/02/06 _______________________
UPDATE
Half-hearted "regret" for words:
"Here's the diff between me and Coulter," he wrote. "I regret using that truck metaphor, and didn't mean it literally, and it was in poor taste, and I regret it. Jeezuhs, never have three Hoegardens before someone points a camera at your face. But the Green in the race there is scum, and should be slapped -- just slapped -- and slapped hard. Not literally, though. No violence." http://www.chicagoreader.com/features/stories/hottype/061020/

(But Wolf, there's a difference between news and terrorist propaganda.)

Let me guess, he was "misquoted". Later, he'll offer an "apology" where he essentially says that anybody who is offended is confused or just stupid.

Everything Dan Savage does is in poor taste.

But the Green in the race there is scum, and should be slapped -- just slapped -- and slapped hard. Make up your mind. Slapped, dragged behind a pickup, beaten with sticks, or run over with a truck?

Um, okay what he said was bad and all, but damn if it wasn't poetic. I'm gonna use that one for sure.

Pick-Up Truck, Later Offers "Regret"
I wondered what other strategy Desperate Democrats would use during
Campaign 2006.
Other than "God Talk" from Claire McCaskill in Missouri and
from Ford in Tennessee.
Now I see what happens when a Democrat starts defending the
last ditch.

I just sent this to Rick Santorum. The hearted hearted non-apology apology is a real winner. Dan Savage is somewhat well-known. I am (still somewhat naively) surprised this has gotten LITTLE or NO coverage. I found it while searching for pornographers who gave to Dems... You find the oddest things searching for those Dem donors.

I pray Sanatorum wins this. I'm not sure what is wrong with PA. I think it is Philadelphia but I may be wrong.

Dan Savage is the vicious little homosexual who joined the Gary Bauer presidential campaign in 2000, and when he had a bad cold or the flu, went around licking doorknobs.
Of course he wrote an article about this and got paid for it by Salon.com .
