This is what will happen:

49 dems, 49 rep, 2 independents.

Brown -- Ohio, Whitehouse -- Rhode Island, Casey -- Pennslyvania, McCaskil -- Missouri, Ford -- Tennessee, Tester -- Montana, Lieberman -- Connecticut, allen -- virginia, kyl -- arizona,

In my prediction, you then have a 49 Dem, 49 Rep, 2 Ind in the US Senate.

Lieberman votes with the Republicans for Majority Leadership positions, Sanders of Vermont votes with Democrats, thus allowing V-P Dick Cheney the unique opportunity to cast vote in favor of Republican Control of the US Senate for 2007-2008.

There you have it. Remember my thread on Election Day.

Sincerely, the Predictor.

51 Reb, 47 Dem, two independents who both caucus with the Dems making it 51/49. Repubs retain control.

Barring any Oct/Nov surprises, the Dems gain 18 seats and gain control of the House.

LOL, Lieberman is a liberal, he'll vote with the other liberals. He's good on the war with islamofasicsts but that's it. Corker will beat Ford handily. McCasskill and the cloning amendment go down in Missouri. Allen wins by a couple. Burns/Tester is all about turnout even though Conrad ain't the best candidate. Some advetising on what kind of federal jusges we'll get or won't get with a dem majority might help Conrad squeak through.

And today Michael Steeles got endorsed by the Godfather of Prince Gerloges County, a dem, and a bunch of other dems on the city council. Cardin is going down!

My prediction is 50-50 and the Republicans get rolled on the agreement on how to run the Senate for the next two years like they did last time.
